EU-GCC mutual perception in the media and cooperation on higher education discussed in the third Sharaka workshop

The third Sharaka workshop on EU-GCC cooperation in Media and Communications, Higher Education and Scientific Research was held in Muscat on 26 March 2013. The workshop, organised in two panels followed by focus groups, hosted around 25 participants among Gulf-based and European journalists, scholars, diplomats and policymakers. The aim of the workshop was to discuss the constraints and opportunities to enhance EU-GCC cooperation in the fields of higher education and media and communications.
